Week Seventeen Picks

Happy New Year Everyone and here we go!!

With Simmons and I tied at the top of the regular season standing we head into the final week looking to come out on top. When the first picks came in Simmons and I had four disagreements. But since he and I have a nasty habit of coming to a stalemate on even numbered picks (we've been doing it all year), I ended up changing my Cle/Jax pick to Jacksonville so there will be three disagreements and thus....a last man standing.

We also can't sleep on Fritz, the closest of anyone outside of Simmons and myself who has a shot at claiming the top spot.

He has three disagreements with me and five disagreements with Simmons. Keep an eye on that.

The other thing I would be remiss in mentioning is Max's choice of winners this week. I am not sure what his motivation is...but Max has SEVEN Lone Wolf picks this week. I am sure he was aiming for more but wasnt expecting some of you to take certain chances with him.

But....

He is eight games back from the lead and has THIRTEEN disagreements with me, and Twelve with Simmons, so if he has a miracle week, Max could pull this thing out. And with how screwy the NFL tends to be on the last week of the season, I wouldnt be too surprised if it all goes his way. Stranger things have happened.

Anyway, I hope everyone's 2010 is off to a good start.

If anyone has any changes that they want to make, please get them to me by tomorrow night. And since there are no Monday night games, I will be back with the results page on Monday.

Finally, the post-season is upon us and I wanted to make sure that everyone was on board with doing confidence points again with our playoff picks this year. We would rank the games 1-11 as we go and that way getting the right point total is just as important as getting the pick itself right.

Let me know how you guys feel about that. I am currently in the process of building the template that I am going to use for the post-season. I think you guys are going to like it.
