Hello again,
Well I envisioned triumph or disaster.....we got both.
We lost a unanimous choice when Greg changed his NE/BUF pick to the Bills, leaving us with six and we went 5-1 thanks to the Cowboys remembering how to play football in December on Saturday night.
But those Lone Wolf Picks, after the changes we still had a whopping seven of them and our Lone Wolves went 4-3 as a group. Due greatly to the fact the Fritz, who had three Lone Wolf picks this week, got all three of his picks right. Now, I personally feel stupid for not taking Cleveland to beat KC and Pittsburgh had to win eventually, but....Oakland over Denver....IN DENVER?!!
Lucky bastard.
Anyway, Justin changed his NYJ/ATL pick giving a Lone Wolf to Sarah....who got it right. Simmons started out with a Lone Wolf with Carolina, but Sarah, feeling the crushing guilt of picking against her team, changed her pick and ended up getting it right. Sarah also came out on the right side of a minority pick when she and Max teamed up and picked Tampa Bay over Seattle.
All of that good fortune left both Fritz and Sarah with 12-4 records this week. Simmons went 10-6 gaining a game on me to take over second place. Mark falls into 3rd place after going 8-8 but is still only two games back with two weeks left to go.
And the standings are super tight right now, four games separate 1st place from 5th place. This is the closest race we've ever had so it should make for some fun over the next two weeks.
Here are the Week Fifteen Results and Picks Panel Standings graphics.
There are no Thursday games this week but there is one on Friday a.k.a. X-Mas Day so please get me your picks by Thursday night so I can get the page up sometime on X-Mas Day before the game.
Merry Christmas everyone,
Larry D.
