Week One Results

Hello again all!!

Well as Denny Green would say "Week One was who we thought it'd be!!"

As usual, Week One was a tough week to call, for some more than others, with games either closer than you;d expect or just flat out turning out a way you couldn't have foreseen with a crystal ball.

Simmons came out on top after the first week. He finished 13-3 which was good enough for 118 pts to take the lead out of the gate in the Wins and Overall Points categories.

Andy was right behind him, also at 13-3, with 105 pts. If anyone was wondering how I, with a 9-7 record, could be in 3rd on Total Points; I had to double check myself and it turns out, I hit on every single double digit point value except for one (Goddamn Redskins). Just goes to show you, it's not so much getting the pick right, it's assigning the right value to those picks.

Hopefully that is a trend that will continue as the season goes along.

Here is the Week One Results page and the Picks Panel Standings graphic.

I have already sent out the first reminder for Week Two. Please get your picks into me by Wednesday night so I can get the page up on time.
