How can you describe Week Three any other way than chaotic; three overtime games, down to the wire finishes and outright madness taking place last night.
And our resulting picks are proof of the fall out.
For the first time that I can remember we went winless with our unanimous picks at 0-4. San Francisco, New Orleans, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh all let us down.
Lone Wolf picks did a little better going 3-3. Justin got St. Louis over Chicago wrong but got Arizona over Philly right, Andy benefitted from a horrible decision by Detroit in overtime to give the Titans a win, Max got Denver over Houston wrong and Mark guessed wrong on Cleveland over Buffalo and then got the benefit of the worst officiating I HAVE EVER SEEN in the Seattle/Green Bay game giving Seattle the win over Green Bay.
And that is coming from a Bear fan folks.
Overall it was another brutal week for us pick-wise. Simmons managed a Week Three best 9-7 record, but the 69 points generated by only 8 wins by me was tops for the week. It was also good enough to vault me to the top of the leader board with 246 points.
Max is second at 239 and Simmons a close 3rd with 238.
Feel free to double check my math on that, I have that equation function working on the excel sheet I use for this but it's not perfect.
Here is the Week Three Results page and the Picks Panel Standings graphic.
Be sure and get your picks in by tomorrow night so I can get the page done. And as usual, you are married to the Thursday night pick and have until midnight on Saturday to get any changes to me.
And my apologies for not reminding everyone when I sent the 1st reminder e-mail out yesterday - The bye weeks start with Week Four so we won’t be picking 16 games again for a while.
There are 15 games on this week's schedule so our values should be from 1-15.
Good luck everyone
