Week One is in the books and for most of us it was a typical one. A brand new season usually leads to ugly records for the first week of the schedule and your 2009 memory of a team effects how you pick them in 2010.
In my case I just picked too many damn road teams to win this weekend. 13 of the 16 home teams came away with victories on opening day. I finished with a below .500 record of 7-9 for Week One and 8 of my nine losses were road teams. The same story applied to a few others as well.
Mark is our leader out of the gates this season sporting an impressive 12-4 record for Week One, Justin is right behind him at 11-5 and Max is the last of us in double digits with a 10-6 record.
We had four unanimous picks this week and we finished 2-2. Tennessee and Green Bay came through for us, but Indy and San Francisco were dominated by their opponents.
Out of our three Lone Wolf picks only one was successful. Our two homers were let down by their teams. Carolina coming up short for Sarah and Greg's Bills falling shorts against Miami. It was Max who was the only one to take Kansas City over San Diego that got his Lone Wolf pick right.
Remember I told you not to fall in love with the layout of the board last week, well I worked on it over the weekend and all I really ended up doing was changing the picks themselves. Instead of the squares, I switched to shields that, I feel, look better and add a lot more color to the final product.
Anywho, here is this week's Results Page and the first Picks Panel Standings Page.
Try and have your Week Two picks into me by Thursday night so I can have the page up by Friday. Any picks that you want to change will have to be into me by Saturday night.
