So I thought I'd step it up a notch this year and start a blog for our picks competition this year. I of course am te defending champion for the regular AND post season in 2008. I plan on retaining that title yet again and it is your responsibility to see that it doesn't happen again.
One other announcement to make, looks like Mark won't be taking part in our competition this year, so I have asked my younger brother Michael to take his place.
Now onto my analysis of this week's picks:
Sarah is a Lone Wolf two times; she chose Tennessee over Pittsburgh and St. Louis over Seattle. Max also came in as a Lone Wolf picking San Francisco over Arizona.
Lots of unanimous picks for Week One, could spell trouble for us considering how wacko Week One of the regular season can be. But we all chose Atlanta, Minnesota, New Orleans, Baltimore, NY Giants, New England and San Diego to win this weekend.

Wow, only 2 "lone wolf" picks in week one. A tad surprised that so many of us picked TB over Dallas. (Thought I'd be alone there...) :) FOOTBALL IS BACK!!! That's just fun. :)
ReplyDelete(Oh, and I would have picked my team - still rooting for them obviously - but I honestly have NO idea who they are this year. None. They could be as bad as they seemed in preseason, or they could be amazing. Or, perhaps more likely, just... about average. Like the past three years. We'll see!)
