Week Seventeen Picks

Hello again all,

Week 17 is upon and it is the last of the regular season. But don't you worry, we arent done yet. We still have the playoffs to deal with a new scoring system (for those who have played the game before) that can make things interesting down the stretch.

So the regular season may be ending, but we still have a little ways to go.

Group A gets us started this week with EIGHT unanimous picks for Week 17. We all like Atlanta, Indianapolis, Miami, New Orleans, Baltimore, Houston, Denver and Seattle to win the last weekend.

Group B has NINE unanimous picks this week. They all like Green Bay, Miami, New England, New Orleans, Dallas, Baltimore, Houston, Denver and Seattle to be winners.

That leaves us with SIX True Unanimous picks for the final week. We all like Miami, New Orleans, Baltimore, Houston, Denver and Seattle to be victorious.

Group A also has only TWO Lone Wolf picks this week. Andy is the only one who likes Chicago over Minnesota and Larry is the only one who likes Cincinnati over Pittsburgh.

Group B has only ONE Lone Wolf pick with Carly liking Arizona over San Francisco.

Here are the picks pages for Group A and Group B.

Any changes to picks or values need to be into me by 11am Central time and the changes will be on the results page on Monday.

Good luck and enjoy the games!!

Week Fifteen Picks

Hello again all,

Only two weeks left in the regular season after this week. With the way the Bears have been playing, I cant really say that this makes me too sad. But I will still miss watching football on Sundays and playing this game with you guys.

Group A gets us started this week with SIX Unanimous picks. We all like Detroit, Kansas City, New England, NY Giants, Baltimore and Seattle to come out on top.

Group B is picking in bunches again as they have EIGHT unanimous picks again aka HALF of this week's 16 games. They all like Green Bay, Detroit, Kansas City, New England, NY Giants, Baltimore, Denver and Seattle.

On the Lone Wolf side Group A has THREE Lone Wolf picks this week. Farro likes Arizona over St. Louis, Greg likes Buffalo over Green Bay and Mark likes Houston over Indianapolis.

Group B adds just TWO Lone Wolf picks to their 8 Unanimous picks this week. Kenny is the only one who likes Atlanta over Pittsburgh and Erik likes Dallas over Philly.

That gives us just ONE True Lone Wolf pick this week. Greg, the Bills fan, is the only one taking Buffalo over Green Bay this weekend. Good luck with that buddy.

Here are the pages for Group A and Group B.

Any changes to picks or values need to be into me by midnight on Saturday and you will see the changes on the results page on Tuesday.

Good luck and enjoy the games!!!

Week Fourteen Picks

Hello again all,

Tough week last week; ot so much on the win/loss side of things, but some upsets hit us hard in the points department which resulted in only one of us getting over 100 pts last week.

Hopefully Week Fourteen will be better for us as the season gets shorter and shorter.

Group A starts us off with FIVE unanimous picks this week. We all like Indianapolis, Detroit, New Orleans, Houston and Green Bay to be victorious.

Group B on the other hand has EIGHT Unanimous picks this week - that's half of this week's games. They all like Detroit, Minnesota, St. Louis, Houston, Denver, San Francisco, New England and Green Bay.

That gives us a total of THREE True Lone Wolf picks this week. All 16 of us like Detroit, Houston and Green Bay to be winners this weekend.

On the Lone Wolf side Group A has THREE this week. Andy likes Chicago over Dallas (I wanted to join him, and while I will root for my boys to win tonight, I just don't trust them to do it); Simmons likes Washington over St. Louis and Greg likes Buffalo over Denver.

Group B adds only TWO Lone Wolf picks to their Eight unanimous picks. Bryan likes Cleveland over Indianapolis and Erik like Carolina over New Orleans.

Week Eleven? Jeez, where does the time go?

Anyway, We have seven weeks left in the season and we are all still chasing Simmons as our overall points leader with 983 and Jordan has emerged as our Wins leader with 102.

Still plenty of time to catch them both though.

Group A gets us started this week with only THREE unanimous picks this week. We all like Denver, New Orleans and Pittsburgh to come out on top this week.

Group B FOUR unanimous picks this week. They like Miami, Denver, Washington and Pittsburgh to be winners.

That leaves us with only TWO True Unanimous Picks this week. As all 16 of us like Denver and Pittsburgh to be victorious this weekend.

Week Nine Picks

Hello again all,

Week 8 was a tough week because the majority of us were doing really well right up until the last three games on the schedule (IND/PIT, NO/GB, DAL/WAS). The majority of us lost all three and a big hunk of points as well.

Take me for example, I had one loss going into those last three games having only lost TWO points in the process. Then I lost all three of those games along with 31 additional points. And there were others that got hit worse than me.

Anywhoo, its a new week with new possibilities. We also have fewer games so there is a smaller margin for error on how much it hurts points-wise to take a loss.

Group A starts us off with FIVE unanimous picks this week. We all like Cleveland, Kansas City, San Francisco, Seattle and Indianapolis to win.

Group B has FOUR Unanimous picks. They all like Cincinnati, Kansas City, Seattle and Indianapolis to be victorious.

That leaves us with THREE True Unanimous picks this week. All of us like Kansas City, Seattle and Indianapolis to come out on top.

Group A has only TWO Lone Wolf picks this week. Justin like Jacksonville over Cincinnati and Andy likes Baltimore over Pittsburgh.

Group B has FOUR Lone Wolf picks. Bryan likes Carolina over New Orleans tonight; Erik like Tampa Bay over Cleveland and St. Louis over San Francisco and Carly likes Baltimore over Pittsburgh.

That gives us TWO True Lone Wolf picks this week. Justin goes against the group taking Jacksonville over Cincinnati and Erik likes Tampa Bay over Cleveland.

Here are the pages for Group A and Group B.

Any changes to picks or values need to be into me by midnight on Saturday. All changes will be reflected on the results page on Tuesday.

Good luck and enjoy the games!

Week Eight Picks

Hello again all,

Week Seven was kind in victories as most of us did well, but our losses cut deep and upsets cost a lot of us our higher values.

Week Eight is looking like another tough week; here's to hoping it's more like Week Six with its generosity in Wins and Points.

Group A starts us off with FIVE Unanimous picks this week. We all like Kansas City, Miami, Indianapolis, Green Bay and Dallas to win this week.

Group B has FOUR unanimous picks. They all like Detroit, Houston, Miami and Dallas to come out on top.

This leaves us with only TWO True Unanimous picks as all 16 of us like Miami and Dallas to be victorious.

Group A has only THREE Lone Wolf picks this week.  Andy has TWO, as he likes Atlanta over Detroit over in London and Carolina over Seattle. Farro has the other as he thinks Oakland will get its first win of the year over Cleveland.

Group B also has THREE Lone Wolf picks this week. Carly has two as she likes San Diego over Denver tonight and St. Louis over Kansas City. Kenny has the other taking Carolina over Seattle.

That leaves us with TWO True Lone Wolf picks. Andy taking Atlanta over Detroit; Carly taking St. Louis over Kansas City.

Here are the picks pages for Group A and Group B.

Any changes to picks or values need to be into my by Midnight on Saturday and the changes will be reflected on the results page on Tuesday.

Almost half way done with the season already, can you believe it?

Good luck and enjoy the games!

Week Six Picks

Hello again all,

We seem to be on a pattern of good week/bad week this season. Everyone did really well last week and also most everyone had double digits wins with our points leader Simmons nearly going perfect at 14-1.

But we always seem to back that up with a crapfest the week after because the NFL just loves to keep its fans on their toes.

So here's to hoping we can break the streak and not stink the joint up this week.

Group A starts us off with SIX unanimous picks this week. We all like Cincinnati, Green Bay, Denver, San Diego, Arizona and San Diego to win this weekend.

Group B has FIVE unanimous picks this week. Everyone likes Cincinnati, Green Bay, Denver, San Diego and Seattle to be victorious.

That leaves Cincinnati, Green Bay, Denver, San Diego and Seattle as the True Unanimous Picks for Week Six. All 16 of us like those five teams to win this week.

Group A actually has ZERO Lone Wolf picks since anyone who chose to go against the group isnt alone this week.

Group B on the other hand has SIX Lone Wolf picks this week. George is the only member of Group B that likes Houston over Indy tonight; He also likes Minnesota over Detroit. Erik also has two Lone Wolf picks as he likes Jacksonville over Tennessee and NY Giants over Philly. Julian like Washington over Arizona and Jordan likes St. Louis over San Francisco.

This only leaves us with ONE True Lone Wolf pick this week as Julian is the only one out of our group of 16 that likes Washington over Arizona on Sunday.

Here are the picks pages for Group A and for Group B.

Any changes to picks or values need to be into me by midnight on Saturday. It's actually something almost no one has taken advantage of this year. But for the most part we havent really needed it. Just putting that out there especially for you newbies, that it is an option available to you.

Any changes will be reflected in the results page on Tuesday.

Good luck and enjoy the games!

Week Five Picks

Hello again all,

Week Four was a tough week, lots of upsets that cost a lot of us our higher values which hurt because there were fewer games, therefore a smaller margin of error.

Group A's page is incomplete because Simmons has not gotten his picks in. If he fails to get them in before the Thursday Night game kicks off tonight, he will forfeit that game and his 16 value. He will then have until Midnight on Saturday to get the rest of his picks in or he will forfeit them all.

Going with the picks that we do have, this is what we look like....

Group A has SIX unanimous picks this week. We all like Green Bay, Dallas, New Orleans, Philadelphia, San Diego and Seattle to come out on top.

Group B has SEVEN unanimous picks. They all like Detroit, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver, San Diego and Seattle to be victorious.

That gives us FOUR True Unanimous picks this week. The whole group likes New Orleans, Philadelphia, San Diego and Seattle to win this weekend.

Group A has FOUR Lone Wolf picks this week. Andy likes Buffalo over Detroit, Mark likes Baltimore over Indianapolis and Justin has two as he likes Tennessee over Cleveland and Jacksonville over Pittsburgh.

Group B has FOUR Lone Wolf picks this week. Carly has TWO, she likes Minnesota over Green Bay and Jacksonville over Pittsburgh. Bryan likes Baltimore over Indy and Lee likes Kansas City over San Francisco.

It actually only leaves us with ONE True Lone Wolf pick this week as Carly is the only one among us that believes that Minnesota will beat Green Bay tonight.

Here are the picks pages for Group A and for Group B.

Make sure you get any changes to points or values into me by Midnight on Saturday and the changes will be seen on the Results page on Tuesday.

Week Four Picks

Hello again all,

Here's to hoping that Week Four will be as good to us as last week was.

Group A has FIVE unanimous picks this week. We all like Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Atlanta and San Francisco.

Group B also has FIVE unanimous picks. They all like Indianapolis, Detroit, Pittsburgh, San Diego and Atlanta.

That leaves us with FOUR True Unanimous picks of Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, San Diego and Atlanta.

Group A only has THREE Lone Wolf picks this week. Simmons has two; he has likes Green Bay over Chicago and Dallas over New Orleans. Greg likes Kansas City over New England.

Group B has TWO Lone Wolf picks this week. Lee likes Green Bay over Chicago (surprise, surprise) and Carly likes Minnesota over Atlanta.

Both of Group B's Lone Wolf picks are the True Lone Wolf picks for this week..
Here is the picks page for Group A; and the page for Group B.

Any changes to any picks or values need to me into me by Saturday at Midnight and will be reflected on Tuesday's results page.

Good luck and enjoy the games!!

Thursday, September 18, 2014

Week Three Picks

Hello again all,

After a less than stellar Week Two, here's to hoping Week Three is much kinder to us.

Group A has SEVEN Unanimous picks this week. We all like Atlanta, Cincinnati, New England, New Orleans, Houston, Indianapolis and Seattle to be victorious this week.

Group B has SIX Unanimous picks this week. They all like Cincinnati, Dallas, New England, New Orleans, Indianapolis and Chicago.

That leaves us with FOUR True Unanimous picks this week as all 16 of us like Cincinnati, New England, New Orleans and Indianapolis to come out on top.

Group A also has THREE Lone Wolf Picks. Andy likes Washington over Philly, Farro likes Kansas City over Miami and Mark likes Pittsburgh over Carolina.

Group B has only TWO Lone Wolf picks this week. Bryan likes Tampa Bay over Atlanta and Erik likes Washington over Philadelphia.

That leaves us with only ONE True Lone Wolf pick this week. Bryan is the only one among our group of 16 that thinks that Tampa Bay will beat Atlanta tonight. And he's pretty confident about it too - he put 12pts on it.

Here is the picks page for Group A; and the page for Group B.

Like I said, I made some changes to the page. I wasnt happy with the overall look and did some alterations. The basic structure stays the same but I changed the icons I was using to represent the picks. Got rid of the Xs and went with something I think stands out a bit better.

As always you have until Midnight on Saturday to get me any changes to picks or values and you will see the changes on the results page on Tuesday.

Good luck and enjoy the games!!

Week One Picks

Hello again all,

Since there are 16 players in our game this year, I have divided them up into two groups of 8. We will call them Group A & Group B. When I give the rundown and everyone's picks I will be doing so by group.

Group A has FOUR Unanimous picks this week. Group A all believes that Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Denver and Detroit will be victorious. Group B has also has FOUR unanimous picks this week. They all believe that Chicago, Kansas City, Philadelphia and Pittsbrugh will all win. We only have TWO unanimous picks in common; as all 16 plyers believe that Philadelphia and Pittsburgh will win on Sunday.

Group A has SIX Lone Wolf picks this week. Justin has TWO, he likes Buffalo over Chicago and Miami over New England. Mark also has TWO, he likes Atlanta over New Orleans and Tennessee over Kansas City. The other two Lone Wolf picks belong to myself and Ross. Ross likes Washington over Houston and I like Carolina over Tampa Bay

Group B has FIVE Lone Wolf picks for Week One. Bryan likes Green Bay over Seattle and St. Louis over Minnesota; Erik likes Atlanta over New Orleans and Miami over New England; and Lee likes Indianapolis over Denver. And if Lee happens to get that one right, he will be the only one as he is the only true Lone Wolf among all 16 players. He's the only one that likes Indy over Denver on Sunday night.

Here is the picks page for Group A; and here is the picks page for Group B.

Any changes to picks or values need to be into me by Midnight Central time and you will see the changes on the results page on Tuesday.

Week One is finally upon us, I want to thank you all again for playing and wish you all good luck this season.

Except for Max. He won last year. Screw him.

Super Bowl Picks Results

Hello again all,

Well so much for Peyton getting his second ring. Sucks that it went down the way it did; the Seahawks played a perfect game (in all three phases actually) but most people will talk about Manning's failing than Seattle's dominance.

No one made any changes so it was a 4-3 split in favor of Denver.....so the minority got their picks right.

As I mentioned before Max is our champion in Confidence Points. He was the only one of us over 1500 points this year (1546), as compared to three of us (myself, Simmons and Max) doing it in 2012. Just another indicator about what a crazy year it was. He also won the game very easily and has pretty much had it won since the end of the regular season - winning by 70 points.

He was also 4 games better in the Wins & Losses game, making him our undisputed Pick 'Em Champion for 2013.....officially.

Here is the Super Bowl Results Page and the Final Picks Panel Standings graphic.

As crazy as the year was, it was still a lot of fun playing the game with you guys again this year and I look forward to doing it all over again next fall.

We will be incorporating the scoring changes we talked about into the game next year where on bye weeks we will be eliminating the lower values instead of dropping higher ones so there will be a 16 value available every week. For example, on a 13 game week, we would be ranking the games 4-16 instead of 1-13.

I was also thinking of doing something different with the playoffs as well. I was in a confidence pick 'em pool on Yahoo Sports and in the Wild Card and Divisional Rounds where there were four games, they offered the values of 4,8,12,16 to rank the games, 4 & 16 for the Championship round and 16 for the Super Bowl.

I was thinking we could do it like that, or we could still do it the way we've been doing it, but drop the lesser values like we will for the bye weeks in the regular season. So instead of ranking the playoffs 1-11, we would rank them 6-16.

Let me know what you guys think about that.

Well, that's gonna do it for this season guys. Congratulations again to Max for winning both titles this year; I hope to have you back to defend that title along with everyone else to chase him for it.

So until then guys, take care and see you next Summer!!

Super Bowl Picks

Hello again everyone,

Did you miss me?

Anywhoo, most of you got your picks into me last week and we were tied at 3-3 until Simmons broke the tie with his pick earlier today.....sorta.

I mean, either way his pick breaks the 3-3 tie that the first six of us had. But his pick for now, broke the tie and swung the pick in Denver's favor.

So as of right now we are a 4-3 split in favor of the AFC Champs thinking that the NFL's #1 offense will outgun the NFL's #1 defense.

Despite how the games turns out, one thing is for sure - Max is our 2013 Pick 'Em Champion in both Confidence Points and Wins/Losses. Congratulations Max, well done.

And now that I look at it, the final standings are set because no one is in position to catch anyone else above them in the confidence pool.

There could be a little movement in the Win/Loss Standings however. For instance, Greg and I are tied for last place in the Win/Loss standings and we disagree with our pick. So one of us will wake up on Monday morning in last place all by themselves in the Win/Loss standings.

With all that being said, here is the Super Bowl Picks Page.

If anyone wants to change their pick for the game, I will give you until 3:30 PM CST on Sunday, that's TWO HOURS before game time. If your pick comes in at 3:31, it won't count.

So good luck and enjoy the game guys!

Championship Round Results

Hello again all,

Well it went down just as we all thought it would with all but two of us going 2-0 in correctly choosing Denver and Seattle to come out on top.

Simmons was 1-1 when he incorrectly chose San Francisco and Mark went 0-2 by choosing the opposite of what actually happened. He chose the "Incorrect T-shirts will be sent to impoverished families in Africa" teams and came up short.

Justin was this week's top point getter with 17 points with Max right behind him with 16.

Here is the Championship Round Results page and the Picks Panel Standings graphic.

No game to pick next week so we dont have to get in this week but here is the game:

Super Bowl XLVIII
Seattle Seahawks at Denver Broncos

And everyone's remaining values:
Larry D - 7
Simmons - 11
Greg - 10
Max - 7
Justin - 7
Mark - 11
Andy - 2

Wont need the pick until NEXT Thursday and I will send out a reminder next week.

Championship Round Picks

Hello again all,

So here we are with the NFL's Final Four and we all pretty much have the same idea: Denver vs Seattle in the Super Bowl.

The only ones who disagree are Simmons and Mark. They both like San Francisco to win the NFC Title over the Seahawks and Mark is the Lone Wolf who thinks New England will take the AFC from Denver.

Everyone else likes the Home Teams/#1 Seeds to make it to the Meadowlands in two weeks.

Here is the Championship Round Picks page.

Any changes to picks or values need to be into me by Midnight on Saturday.

Divisional Round Results & Championship Round Reminder

Hello again all,

Well the Divisional round didnt have the fireworks that the Wild Card round did but the Conference Title game matchups have a lot of promise with one division rivalry in one game and the two best QBs going head to head in another.

Simmons got back to me 1st thing on Friday to let me know that he was not going Lone Wolf on the NO/SEA game, so we did have a unanimous pick this week - which we all got right.

Simmons and Greg were both perfect this week at 4-0 with every else but me going 3-1.

Greg also tied with Max in total points this week with 28 each, Andy was right behind them with 27.

Andy has gone 7-1 in the playoffs so far earning 50 out of the 56 points he has risked thus far. 2nd most earned thus far is a tie between Simmons and Max who have both earned 33.

Here is the Divisional Round Results page and the Picks Panel Standings graphic.

And while we are at it, here are everyone's remaining values:

Larry D - 5.6.7
Simmons - 1.10.11
Greg - 6.9.10
Max - 6.7.10
Justin - 7.8.9
Mark - 9.10.11
Andy - 2.3.5

And this weekend's matchups:

New England at Denver
San Francisco at Seattle

Everyone have your picks in by Thursday night so I can have the page done by Friday. And since the games arent until Sunday, you would have until Midnight on Saturday to get me any changes.

Divisional Round Picks

Hello again all,

He we are down to then "Elite Eight" of the 2013 NFL season in the Divisional Round

We have ZERO unanimous picks this week but we do have TWO Lone Wolf picks.

Simmons is the only one who likes New Orleans to beat Seattle on Saturday; and Mark is the only one who likes San Diego to win the rubber match against the Broncos on Sunday.

The Indy/New England game is a 5-2 split for the Patriots. Andy and I are the ones who like the Colts to take it.

The most contested game is the San Fran/Carolina game; it's a 4-3 split in favor of San Francisco.

Here is the Divisional Round Picks page.

Any changes on picks or values need to be into me by Midnight on Friday.

Good luck and enjoy the games!!

Wild Card Round Results

Hello again all,

What a crazy weekend of games! All but one coming down the wire and two of them ending with game-winning field goals - both for the road teams. Madness.

So my gamble didnt work out like I hoped by getting all of the top values right on Wild Card Weekend, but I did get lucky. Andy texted me on Friday to switch his NO/PHI pick and I decided to change my KC/Indy pick. At first I thought I'd made a horrible mistake,  but thanks to Indy's comeback I ended up getting the pick right.

Speaking of Andy, he was our big winner this weekend because he actually was perfect after switching his NO/Philly pick to New Orleans - earning 23 pts in the process. I managed to get 18 pts but I blew my 9 & 11 value picks on Philly and Cincinnati so don't have much left to gain for the remainder of he playoffs.

With Andy switching his pick to New Orleans, it robbed us of our one and only Unanimous pick and gave Andy a SECOND Lone Wolf pick.

He was the only one who liked New Orleans over Philly and he was the only one who liked San Diego over Cincinnati - and he got them both right.

Our other Lone Wolf pick was Justin taking Green Bay over San Francisco. Getting that one wrong caused Justin to be 0-4 for the weekend. But he still have all of his top values left so he can make it up.

Here is the Wild Card Round Results page and the Picks Panel Standings graphic.

The Divisional Round Reminder will be out shortly with this weekend's games along with the remaining values everyone has left to use.

Wild Card Round Picks

Hello again all,

So we have arrived at the playoffs once again.

We only have ONE unanimous pick this week. We all noticed that the 11-5 Saints were 3-5 on the road and we are all picking them to lose on the road at Philly on Saturday.

We have TWO Lone Wolf picks: Andy likes San Diego over Cincinnati and Justin likes Green Bay over San Francisco.

Only two 11 values used the first weekend. Andy used his with his San Fran over Green Bay pick. The other was used be me - along with my other top values this week. I am basically going All-In this weekend. Last year I ran two pick 'em games; one with all of us and the other with a group of people at work. One of my work buddies did the same things last year. He nailed all four picks and it helped him pull away in the playoffs.

I am using the same strategy to try and close the gap between me and Max. I dont have a prayer in catching him, but I want to make it look respectable.

Here is the Wild Card Round picks page.

Any changes to picks or values need to be into me by Midnight on Friday because the games start on Saturday.

Good luck and enjoy the games!

Week Seventeen Results

Hello again all,

Although it was a disastrous weekend for me personally, it was a great weekend for us as a group.

Where as traditionally Week 17 has been one of the toughest to call, the worst record from us this week was 12-4 which is outstanding. Justin and Max both were nearly perfect at 15-1 with Max bringing in 132 out of 136 points this week.

His point total has him pulling away with the lead. His 1490 points is 57 points better than 2nd place. And with only 66 points available the playoffs, it'll take a miracle to unseat him.

Anywhoo....

We were perfect with our unanimous picks....all EIGHT of them. Carolina, Tennessee, Indianapolis, NY Giants, Pittsburgh, New Orleans, Seattle and Philadelphia all came through for us.

Lone Wolf picks were all perfect this week as well.....perfectly wrong.

Mark missed on his when Oakland lost to Denver, Justin's only wrong pick was a Lone Wolf selection of KC over San Diego - he almost got it right. Greg missed on Buffalo over New England and Andy missed on Baltimore over Cincinnati.

Here is the Week 17 Results page and the Picks Panel Standings graphic.

I'll be sending out the Wild Card Round reminder email  a little later, along with how the playoffs work for those who need a reminder.

Week Sixteen Picks

Hello again all,

Sorry for the delay, it's been that kind of week.

We start off with FIVE unanimous picks this week; a far cry from the nine we had a week ago.

We all like Cincinnati, Denver, Seattle, San Diego and San Francisco to win this week.

We also have SIX Lone Wolf picks this week.

We have two guys with two each: Justin likes Indianapolis over Kansas City and Baltimore over New England. Andy likes Tampa Bay over St. Louis and Washington over Dallas.

We round them out with Simmons taking New Orleans over Carolina and Mark likes Jacksonville over Tennessee.

Here is the Week Sixteen Picks page.

Any changes you want to make to picks or values need to be into me by Midnight on Saturday.

Good luck and enjoy the games!!

Week Fifteen Results

Hello again all,

Crazy week in the NFL this week.

We had NINE unanimous picks this week and right off the bat Denver lets us down by losing to San Diego.

From then on all bets were off. I feel like we were lucky to finish 6-3 in those 9 picks.

Atlanta, Chicago, Indianapolis, San Francisco, Kansas City and Carolina came through for us. Denver, Philadelphia and New Orleans all let us down.

We only had ONE Lone Wolf pick with Justin picking Pittsburgh over Cincy and he nailed it.

Here is the Week Fifteen Results page and the Picks Panel Standings graphic as well.

Max seems to be pulling away in the points game. We have two weeks left in the regular season and the playoffs to catch up.

We'll have to see what happens and see if any of us take chances to try and close the gap.

Should be fun.

Week Fifteen Picks

Hello again all,

We kick things off with NINE unanimous picks this week.

That's right....NINE!!

We all like Denver, Atlanta, Chicago, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Kansas City, Carolina and New Orleans to be victorious this week.

We only have ONE Lone Wolf pick with Justin taking Pittsburgh over Cincinnati in the Sunday night game.

Our picks break down as such:

Unanimous picks - 9
Lone Wolf picks - 1
5 to 2 Splits   - 4
4 to 3 Splits    - 2

So at least five of us agree on 14 of this week's 16 games, so we could have another week like Week 14 where my success if your success and so on because we all are pretty much of a similar mindset this week.

Here is the Week Fifteen Picks page.

Any changes to picks or values need to be into me by Midnight on Saturday.

Good luck and enjoy the games!!

Week Thirteen Results

Hello again all,

With four weeks left in the regular season we have a new pointe leader - Max!

Max finished with a week's best 12-4 record and 112 pts that was enough to push him past Simmons and atop our points standings.

I was the only other one to score over 100 pts this week with 101, good enough to vault me into 2rd place. But I still have a ways to go (48pts to be exact) to catch 1st place.

Our unanimous icks were 4-2 this week. Cleveland and Buffalo both let us down; but Dallas, Carolina, New England and Seattle all came through for us.

Both of Justin's Lone Wolf picks (Tennessee over Indy & St. Louis over San Fran) both fell short.

Here is the Week Thirteen Results page and the Picks Panel Standings graphic.

The Week Fourteen reminder will be out shortly. We still have te Thursday game for two more weeks so for this week and next week, I need your picks in by Wednesday night so I can get the page up by Thursday.
